Excellent pair of post modern Thonet "Sof-Tech" chairs by David Rowland. Designed in 1979 these chairs feature a tubular chrome-plated steel frame with plastic-coated gridded sheet for seat and back. Frame is composed of a pair of straight stiles, with a back curving slightly at the top, and a single length of steel wrapping from the foot of both legs, around the sides and back of the seat. The seat and backrests are each composed of a length of orange plastic-covered ("Soflex") grid pattern. Each chair measures 18” x 17” x 18” with a seat height of 18” and are available for purchase with free NYC curbside delivery.
