About

Most prominently a midcentury furniture and oddity show space that combined the overcrowded charm of an old-fashioned Parisian boutique with the promising clutter of a midwestern junk shop, RePOP originally opened its door in the Brooklyn Navy Yard June of 2006 and moved on in 2011 to create two consecutive storefronts in Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Offering a wide range of merchandise like eclectic, mid-century modern furnishings in fabulous condition, RePOP is also noted for outfitting major television and film productions, accomplishing the interior design of the Nitehawk Cinema in Williamsburg as well as competing several residential projects in the greater New York area and beyond.  As a brick and mortar, RePOP also feature local artists in quarterly salon events.

RePOP shuttered the final shop in Greenpoint in the summer of 2018 and the owner, Russell Boyle, has since moved on to the Detroit area where he is offering his eclectic interior decorating expertise to the team at Gorman’s Contemporary in Southfield, Michigan.

RePOP warmly thanks all of the clients in the New York area who supported the brick and mortar for 13 years.
